In 2022, Schneider Electric faced significant challenges with its incumbent carrier. These included issues with transparency in service delivery, such as problems with Proof of Delivery (POD) accuracy and concerns over drivers’ professionalism. These issues impacted Schneider Electric’s ability to maintain its high standards for customer experience.

As a result, the company sought a new logistics partner via a rigorous tender process. "Our tender process was not price-driven; we were looking for a strong working relationship and a partner who wanted to grow with us," stated Glynn Hobbs, Logistics Territory Director for Schneider Electric UK.

The solution

Schneider Electric appointed DX as their logistics partner, selecting the DX Parcel service to meet their specific requirements for secure and reliable B2B deliveries.

The partnership is managed through the DX Express depot in Shrewsbury, which was chosen for its ability to coordinate Schneider Electric's high-volume operations effectively. Currently, DX delivers an average of 700 consignments daily for Schneider Electric on a next-day service. This ensures Schneider Electric can meet its customers’ expectations for timely and secure delivery of critical electrical components.
