Every delivery is shaped around how consumers expect goods to arrive, on time, clearly communicated and handled with care,  with tracking and visibility in place to protect brand experience right through to the door.

From doorstep to room of choice and beyond.

Final mile delivery needs to flex around the customer, not the other way round. Services extend from everyday parcel delivery to premium two-crew home delivery for bulky or high-value goods, with room-of-choice placement and optional installation where required. Secure delivery options, clear delivery windows and full tracking give customers control and reassurance, while international reach and specialist services, including medical specimen delivery,  allow a wide range of consumer needs to be supported through one joined-up approach.

How the DX Final Mile process works

  • 1

    Delivery booked

    The order is placed with the supplier and manifested to DX. The customer receives an SMS confirming the delivery date, with the option to contact DX to make changes if needed.

    Customer notified

    On the evening before delivery (around 18:30), DX sends an SMS confirming the scheduled delivery and providing a two-hour delivery window.

    Tracking notification

    On the morning of delivery (around 08:30), the customer receives an SMS with a live tracking link to follow the delivery in real time.

    On approach

    The DX crew contacts the customer 30–60 minutes before arrival to confirm availability. On arrival, the crew confirms the preferred delivery location and completes any required risk assessment.

    Delivery confirmation

    Once delivery is complete and the customer is satisfied, proof of delivery is captured electronically using a handheld device.
